To be comfortable for your scan, there are a few things you should know:

  • Ultrasound scans use high frequency sound waves to create real-time images of internal body structures. It is a safe, non-invasive imaging procedure.

  • There may be preparation required for your scan. This will be explained in detail after you book. For instance, you may be required to fast, or drink water to fill your bladder before the scan.

  • It is recommended that you wear comfortable and loose 2-piece clothing.

  • The total visit time can range from 15 minutes to 90 minutes depending on the scan.

  • If you have any mobility requirements, please phone our friendly receptionist before booking.

You can discuss the above with a call to our lovely receptionist or book in online and have this information displayed after booking.

Please note we accept all referrals.
