Testicular & Scrotal Ultrasound in Canberra

A scrotal ultrasound examines the testicles and surrounding structures. It's used to investigate pain, swelling, a lump, or other changes, and is carried out discreetly and professionally by our sonographer.

Preparation: No preparation is needed. Eat, drink and take any medications as normal, and wear comfortable two-piece clothing.

What to expect: Your sonographer will explain the procedure and ensure you're comfortable before starting. Warm gel is applied and a small probe is moved over the area. The scan is generally painless and usually takes 15โ€“20 minutes.

Billing: We are a mixed-billing practice. You'll be informed of the total cost, your Medicare rebate and any out-of-pocket expense beforehand.
